WKNDS

This project is a photo documentation of unregulated spaces and places in Singapore whereby people improvise and innovate ways to make use of it for their own leisure purposes. Although Singapore is a small city state with a dense population to surface area, sightings of unregulated spaces are abundant island wide. On the peripheries of our urban jungle are marginal areas individuals or groups alike come to take up the space during the weekends or their free time.

This project serves as a visual reminder to the people of Singapore to have an open mind to go out more, instead of constant remarks "Theres nowhere to go in Singapore.." There are much more to do in this small city state. Simply dare to be creative and innovate, be surprised at how much potential these little plot of lands hold.
